Why such a low price?
These are classes
with
native-speakers undertaking a course to obtain a certificate in
teaching English as a foreign language. There is a maximum of 20
students per class (the average is 10). There is no level test.
Students place themselves in the high or low group, but if you decide
it is either too low or too high you are welcome to change groups.
Hours and dates of the courses
Each course lasts
4 weeks. The
classes are 90 min per day, from Monday to Thursday
. They start on a Wednesday and finish on the Tuesday
of the final week. So typically courses are 25 hours in total. There
are no classes on public holidays, but courses run every month. There
are usually three times a day. For details of the next course

What are the courses like?
You will have various teachers during
the four weeks which will give you the opportunity to hear different
accents, improve your comprehension and get to know people from many
different parts of the world. You will do different activities and
practice your spoken English through conversation with the teachers and
your classmates. You will do listening exercises from class cassettes
and video and study grammar and vocabulary through doing exercises. All
this in a dynamic but comfortable atmosphere where participation is
encouraged. A tutor will be observing the classes and monitoring the
progress of the teachers.
Materials
You don't need to buy anything. The
teacher prepares all your classes and provides you with all the
materials necessary. It's useful to bring a file or notebook to keep
any materials in and to make notes in.
Certificate of Attendance
We
can provide participants who attend a minimum of 90% of the course with
a certificate of attendance where we state the number of hours attended
and the level of the class.
1:1 Lessons
During the course,
we need volunteers
to do individual classes of one hour with one of the teachers. Prior to
the class the teacher will do a needs analysis and to help them prepare
a class focussed specifically on the student's particular needs.

Conditions
Course fees are
non-refundable. If
you decide before the course starts that you do not wish to attend for
whatever reason, you can tranfer your place to another person for the
same course.
